Manchester United are continuing talks with Sporting CP over a deal to sign Marcos Rojo, according to Sky sources. United are unwilling to increase their bid of £16million for the Argentina defender, with reports in Portugal suggesting Sporting may accept that amount if a United player goes in the opposite direction on loan.

Players call the shots, not clubs. In this instance, Valencia are set to benefit from this footballing adage. Manchester City starlet Bruno Zuculini is on the brink of signing for the Mestalla outfit on loan when he had appeared in line to join Deportivo La Coruña.

AS Roma defender Mehdi Benatia is flying to England for talks over a move to Manchester United, Sky sources understand.

Atlético Madrid are about to wrap up a deal for José Manuel Jurado. The negotiations process is all but complete and they are just days away from finalising an agreement which will see the Andalusian player become a 'Rojiblanco' once again, four years on.

According to reports in Italy, including Gazzetta dello Sport, Alessio Cerci is very close to sealing a move to Atlético Madrid.

AS Roma defender Mehdi Benatia is flying to England for talks over a move to Manchester United, Sky sources understand. Talks are reportedly continuing between the two clubs to agree terms on a deal for the Morocco international, with United keen to add to their thin defensive options.

Deportivo La Coruña are closing in on the loan signing of two players from English clubs, according to reports in Spain. Deportivo are set to bring in Fulham striker Kostas Mitroglou, who has recently been linked with the likes of Hertha Berlin and Olympiakos. Manchester City's new recruit Bruno Zuculini, meanwhile, is also a loan target for Deportivo.

It has been expected, but Liverpool have now wrapped up a deal for Sevilla left-back Alberto Moreno.

Bayern Munich are to scour the market for a new defender after Javi Martínez was ruled out for six months after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament. Technical director Michael Reschke said:

"We can all see that we now have to do something. We're going to make some considerations."

Reports emanating from Spain claim former Fulham midfielder Derek Boateng has cancelled his contract with Rayo Vallecano just two months after joining the club.

Barcelona and São Paulo have reached an agreement for the transfer of Douglas Pereira. Although the club is yet to make an official announcement, the move has gone through for €8 million. This is a done deal and the full-back will put on Barça colours, although to begin with it is anticipated that Douglas will not join Barcelona this season, but rather the following one. The only thing that could precipitate his arrival would be if Dani Alves left the club during this transfer window. However, that is highly unlikely.

Juventus are the latest club to show an interest in AS Monaco striker Radamel Falcao , according to the Gazzetta dello Sport. Juve coach Massimiliano Allegri is in the market for a new striker and the Italian champions are reportedly keen on a loan deal for Falcao. The Colombia international has also been linked with Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City and Real Madrid this summer.

Brendan Rodgers wants to sign another striker before the transfer window closes and L'Equipe reports that Liverpool are keeping an eye on Paris Saint-Germain's Ezequiel Lavezzi. According to reports in Italy, Bayern Munich have pulled out of the race to sign Mehdi Benatia due to AS Roma's demands for the defender. Roma reportedly want between €30m (£24m) and €35m (£28m) for the Morocco international. Manchester United are now seemingly the only club interested in Benatia, although reports claim the centre-half is hoping Chelsea will make an offer.

2) fuldstændig bevidst undlader at kommentere på de konkrete punkter, FIFA har dømt dem på, da de godt ved, der har gjort i nælderne.

Det er naturligvis 2), der er det rigtige, men eftersom omverdenen skal forsøges bevaret i troen om det god og smukke i "Mes que un club", fyrer de sådan noget mundlort af, for så har man åbenbart en etisk ret til at omgå loven.

Napoli have confirmed the signing of Netherlands midfielder Jonathan de Guzmán from Villarreal.

The president of Atlético Madrid, Enrique Cerezo, has claimed in a radio interview that Germany forward Marco Reus had an offer to leave Borussia Dortmund for Manchester United this summer, but turned it down. When asked if Atlético had a chance of signing Reus, Cerezo told Onda Cera:

"He had an offer for a lot of money from Manchester United and he has not gone… we will not sign him with a lesser offer."

A FIFA committee has upheld the transfer ban placed on FC Barcelona, which means the La Liga giants will be unable to bring in new players between this September and January 2016. A FIFA statement read:

"FC Barcelona is to serve a transfer ban which will see the club prevented from registering any players at both national and international level for two complete and consecutive transfer periods, starting with the next registration period (January 2015)."

Hold kæft, hvor er jeg glad for, at Diego Costa ikke længere skal møde os i et derby. Og German Burgos. Haha kæft, hvor jeg nyder at opleve ham på skærmen. Man skulle ellers tro, bedømt ud fra det ydre, at Burgos var den mest skræmmende af ham og El Cholo. Jeg ser ham bare som en sød nutede stor bjørn, som jeg har får lyst til at kramme.

Jeg synes i øvrigt, at kampen i går forløb relativt fredeligt i forhold til de seneste gange vi har mødt dem. Der var lige Raul Garcia, men ellers synes jeg begge hold spillede fair, sådan da.
