Det er de nok mere kede af i Juventus, end de er i Real Madrid. Snakken går i øvrigt på, at Roma bød op på mod €30m, mens Juventus kun var villige til at betale i omegnen af €20-25m.
Det kommer ikke som den store overraskelse, eftersom den 20-årige (snart 21-årige) midtbanespiller i forvejen er ejet af Peter Lim, som ligeledes ejer transferrettighederne til Gomes' nu forhenværende holdkammerat i Benfica, Rodrigo.

Spanish daily El Mundo Deportivo claims FC Barcelona have offered Valencia €15m (£11.8m) plus Dutch winger Ibrahim Affelay for defender Jérémy Mathieu. Affelay is also reported to be a target for Stoke and Sunderland with the winger well down the pecking order at the Camp Nou.

The Times says that Tottenham Hotspur are vying with Bayern Munich and AS Monaco for Antoine Griezmann. The report says that the France international has a £24million buyout clause at Real Sociedad and wants to leave this summer, with Spurs looking for a left-sided winger.

Spanish publication El Mundo Deportivo is reporting that Olympiakos are closing in on a loan deal for FC Barcelona forward Bojan Krkic. Stoke are also keen on the Spain international, but he appears set to spend the 2014/15 campaign in Greece.
Jérémy Mathieu has called on Valencia to enter into transfer talks with FC Barcelona and allow him to join 'the biggest club in the world'.
"I want to ask Valencia CF and its president, Amadeo Salvo, to please understand the situation and accept to negotiate my exit. I have the opportunity to play in the biggest club in the world and that's all I want. I'll never forget what Valencia has done for me, but it's time to move on in the best way possible."
Yaya Toure has quashed speculation that he wants to leave Manchester City. The midfielder has been linked with a move away from the champions this summer, amid reports of a breakdown in relations between the player and the club, but the Ivory Coast international was quick to reassure the City faithful when speaking to Sky Sports News.
"I want to say that I will always honour my contract and stay as long as possible and don’t think about all the speculation saying that I’m leaving."
Manchester City are considering a move for Everton's Ross Barkley should Yaya Toure look to force a move away from the Etihad.
The Daily Star reports that the Manchester City midfielder has snubbed the chance of a move to Manchester United. City's local rivals reportedly had Toure on their shopping list and were considering a £40million approach, but the Ivory Coast international wants to leave the Premier League and is holding out for a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
Argentinian youngster Ángel Correa, whom Atlético have agreed to sign, is currently in Madrid continuing his recovery from the surgery he underwent a month ago to remove a benign tumour from a heart ventricle. He faces longer on the sidelines than initially expected.

Sky sources are reporting that Liverpool have agreed a fee of £8.5million with Queens Park Rangers for the transfer of France striker Loïc Rémy. The 27-year-old is understood to have a release clause in his contract entitling him to speak to clubs in the Champions League who bid an agreed amount.
Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo claims that Manchester United and FC Barcelona are in a straight fight to sign Daley Blind from Ajax. The versatile 24-year-old is valued at around £17.5million by the Dutch champions.
Argentinian left winger Roberto Pereyra looks set to sign for Juventus from Udinese. The 23-year-old has been at the Stadio Friuli since summer 2011 and the move to the Italian champions may initially be on a season-long loan basis.
Manchester City have reportedly failed in a bid to sign Spain centre-back Raúl Albiol from Napoli. The 28-year-old moved to the Serie A club last summer from Real Madrid and was part of Spain's World Cup 2014 squad.

Alt imens rygtes Tiago tilbage til Atlético Madrid. Tiagos kontrakt med Atlético udløb den 30. juni, hvorefter han forlod klubben på en fri transfer. Inden da og efterfølgende blev han sat i kraftig forbindelse med et skifte tilbage til Chelsea, men i dag opstod der så et rygte om, at Chelsea angiveligt har droppet interessen. Sky Sports reported on Saturday that the two Premier League clubs had agreed an £8.5million fee for his transfer to Anfield, and it is now understood that fee could rise to £11m.
The agent of Portuguese midfielder Tiago is said to be working on a deal to take the 33-year-old to Valencia. The ex-Chelsea man, who has been linked with a return to England, has spent the last three years with Atlético Madrid.
Sevilla have officially completed the signing of Liverpool forward Iago Aspas on a season-long loan. The Spanish striker passed a medical on Friday after the two clubs agreed a deal, which includes the option to buy permanently, earlier in the week and the paperwork has now been finalised.

Atlético Madrid have been linked with a move to bring Fernando Torres back to the club from Chelsea, but reports in the Spanish press have played down the chances of such a transfer. Newspaper El Mundo Deportivo suggests that Atlético have not asked about the striker, while he is also said to be keen to stay at Stamford Bridge and fulfil his ambitions for the season.
Willy Caballero says it would have been 'impossible' to turn down a switch to Manchester City, but is open to returning to Málaga in the future. The 32-year-old goalkeeper has moved to the Etihad Stadium on a three-year contract after being offered the opportunity to be reunited with Manuel Pellegrini in England.
Udover Iago Aspas har Sevilla i dag ligeledes præsenteret målmanden Mariano Barbosa, mens de i samme ombæring også offentliggjorde indkøbet af midtbanespilleren Grzegorz Krychowiak. 24-årige Krychowiak er polsk landsholdsspiller og kommer til franske Reims.
