Tomorrow's Sunday Telegraph claims Real Madrid could move for Petr Cech towards the end of the transfer window, if Thibaut Courtois starts the season as first-choice goalkeeper for Chelsea.

According to El Confidencial, Paris Saint-Germain could announce the signing of Ángel di María from Real Madrid tomorrow. PSG will reportedly pay €75million (£59.9m) to sign Di María on a four-year contract. Manchester United and Bayern Munich had also been linked with moves for the Argentina international.

AC Milan have turned their attention to Real Madrid's Diego López in their pursuit of a new goalkeeper. A move for Liverpool's Pepe Reina had been mooted, but that interest would appear to have ended.

Real Madrid have confirmed that striker Karim Benzema has penned a new five-year deal with the club. The 26-year-old, who joined from Lyon in 2009, had been linked with a Bernabeu exit earlier this summer.

"Real Madrid C.F. announces the extension of Karim Benzema's contract for the next five seasons until June 30, 2019."

Diego López is on the verge of finding himself a new club and it looks for all the world like his next destination won't be AS Monaco, but rather AC Milan.

According to 'Sky Italia', Real Madrid and the 'Rossoneri' are in advanced negotiations over a loan deal for the Galician goalkeeper.

Radamel Falcao's future at AS Monaco continues to be called into question and Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that Manchester City are ready to step up their efforts to land the prolific Colombian frontman.

PSG chairman Nasser Al-Khelaïfi has announced this Thursday, during his club's presentation of David Luiz, that negotiations with Real Madrid for Di María have come to a standstill.

"I have been in negotiations for Di María with my friend Florentino Pérez, but for me the player is too expensive and we have stopped negotiations", the French club's head honcho declared.

On Thursday, the English newspaper The Guardian reported that Liverpool had been told by Monaco that Radamel Falcao was heading to Real Madrid and that a deal had been agreed as they made inquiries about the former Atlético Madrid frontman. As Liverpool continue their search to find a replacement for the recently departed Luis Suárez, they were told in no uncertain terms: “Falcao is destined for Madrid and the deal is close to being agreed.”

The apparently never-ending Real Madrid goalkeeping debate may at last be coming to an end in the next few days. Milan have taken advantage of the goings-on at Real Madrid regarding their goalkeepers and have put in an offer for Diego López.

The agreement between the Italian and Spanish clubs is total. The Spanish keeper would go to Milan for €2.5 million. The deal would put paid to Real's headache regarding their goalkeepers, something that, with the arrival of Navas together with Iker's starter status in the European Supercup, looked to become a migraine, with one of their three shotstoppers watching the final from the Cardiff City Stadium stands.

With only an official announcement remaining, Diego López is Milan’s new number one. Manuel García Quilón, the player’s agent, met with Milan’s general manager Adriano Galliani on Saturday morning and agreed a deal that will see the now former Real Madrid goalkeeper sign a four-year deal. López will undergo a medical on Monday, according to Sky Sport Italy.

Following the meeting held in the coastal town of Forte dei Marmi, Galliani told a group of fans that “the Diego López deal was 99% done,” according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Real Madrid are hoping to wrap up Diego López's departure this weekend. All that the Champions League winners are waiting for is for the goalkeeper to agree terms with Milan.

Talks are ongoing in Italy between López's agent, Manolo García Quilón, and the 'Rossoneri'. The Serie A giants are willing to pay the €2.5 million a year the Galician currently nets at the Bernabéu and offer the veteran a three-year contract, but the goalie is holding out for €4m a season.
