De slovenske mestre, Maribor, ryger i Pot 4.

I morgen skal de sidste fem hold findes. Det står mellem: FC København-Qarabağ (0-1), Slavia Prag-APOEL (0-2), CSKA Moskva-Young Boys (1-0), Liverpool-Hoffenheim (2-1) og Steaua Bukarest-Sporting CP (0-0). Lad os nu få med FCK med videre og op af bowlen i samme gruppe som Real Madrid!

Sky sources: Spanish giants Barcelona are preparing a fourth bid for Liverpool’s Brazilian talisman Philippe Coutinho which could rise to a staggering £138m.

Sky Sports News understands that contrary to reports suggesting Barcelona and Coutinho are giving up hope of securing a move before the summer window closes, the Catalan club are preparing to test Liverpool’s resolve once more with an initial payment of £101m up front - with £37m in bonuses.

'NEVER BEEN MORE DETERMINED TO LEAVE'

One source in Spain has told SSN: "Philippe has never been more determined to leave Liverpool. To suggest Barca are thinking of backing out and calling it a day, is absolute nonsense.

"They’re all in now; their cards are on the table and they’ll never give up the fight.”

The £37m add-ons are understood to be linked to Champions League appearances and would be expected to be easily achievable, were he to move to the Nou Camp.

COUTINHO UPDATE

Sky Sports Spanish football expert Guillem Balague has taken to Twitter to give an update on the futures of Philippe Coutinho and Jean Michael Seri.

Both have been linked with moves to Barcelona.

He tweeted: “FCB are very aware LFC are not selling but have been asked by Coutinho to give it a last go. FCB don't want Coutinho upset for future.

“Coutinho expects FCB to offer €140 but they can’t afford him, Dembele, Di Maria and Seri. So they are putting efforts mostly on Dembele/Di Maria.

“The relevant people at FCB believe a new offer for Courinho won't be accepted by Liverpool.

“Seri had all agreed with Barcelona. Last night it was to be formally agreed with Nice but negotiations have broken down for now.”

Barcelona have had a change of heart over Jean Michael Seri. It looked like a deal for the Nice midfielder was practically complete, but the Barca hierarchy decided last night to scrap the deal and focus on moves for Dembele and Philippe Coutinho instead. (Mundo Deportivo)

BARCA PULL OUT OF SERI DEAL

Barcelona have surprisingly pulled the plug on their interest in Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri, reports Mundo Deportivo.

Barca had all but sealed a €40m deal with Nice yesterday (Tuesday) after agreeing a four-year contract with the player and both teams had planned to announce the transfer today (Wednesday). However, senior Barca figures changed their mind last night (Tuesday) and the LaLiga club will not snap up the Ivory Coast international.

Seri featured in Nice’s defeat to Napoli last night – a match many thought would be his last in a Nice shirt – and says he will be available for the French side this weekend.

“No, it was not my last match with Nice, I will be in Amiens on Saturday for the Ligue 1 match,” he said after the match.

With just over one week left until the transfer window closes, Barca will now focus their efforts on sealing the arrival of Ousmane Dembele from Borussia Dortmund and trying to persuade Liverpool to part ways with Philippe Coutinho.

DORTMUND STAND FIRM ON DEMBELE

Borussia Dortmund say they will not negotiate with Barcelona over a price for Ousmane Dembele as the clock keeps ticking in their stand-off with the want-away winger.

Dortmund suspended Dembele indefinitely on August 10 when the 20-year-old boycotted training in protest after the German club rejected an initial bid from Barcelona.

"We are prepared to sell him and what we want is on the table," confirmed Dortmund's CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke. "When it's not met, Dembele will stay with us. We will not negotiate."

AC MILAN KEEN ON RAFINHA

AC Milan are keen on Barcelona midfielder Rafinha, according to GianlucaDiMarzio.com.

The Brazil midfielder, who has suffered several injuries over the past few seasons, is likely to face a battle to nail down a regular first-team berth at Barca.

Milan are interested in snapping him up on loan and have already made an enquiry.

Paris St Germain have released a statement regarding Barcelona's intention to sue Neymar over an alleged breach of contract.

"Paris Saint-Germain was surprised to learn of FC Barcelona's statement today announcing the start of legal proceedings in Spain against its former player Neymar Jr. and indicating that should Neymar Jr. fail to pay the monies claimed by his former club, Paris Saint-Germain will be held responsible to pay the outstanding sum," it said.

"Paris Saint-Germain reiterates that, like Neymar Jr., it has always respected all applicable laws and rules in its dealings and, once again, regrets the attitude of FC Barcelona."

NEYMAR UPDATE

FIFA are investigating Neymar's complaint over unpaid loyalty bonus at Barcelona;

A FIFA spokesperson has told Sky Sport News: "The matter is pending and being investigated. As a result, we are not in a position to comment on it."

This is a separate complaint following yesterday's announcement by Barcelona that they are to sue their former player for £7.8m over an alleged breach of contract in the wake of his £198m move to Paris Saint-Germain.

CITY LINE UP €40M MARTIN BID

Man City are trying to sign Espanyol defender Aaron Martin, reports Sport.

City have tracked the Spaniard, 20, for several months and are in negotiations with Espanyol after tabling a €20m bid.

Various teams, including Real Madrid, have shown interest in the left-back over the past few seasons.

Aaron, who renewed his contract at Espanyol until 2022 in January, has a €40m buyout clause.

If the youngster moves to City, Espanyol will look to replace him with former Watford man Miguel Layun.

MBAPPE SET FOR €150M PSG MOVE

Kylian Mbappe is one step away from becoming a PSG player, according to sources in France.

L’Equipe reports that there is an agreement in place between PSG and Monaco which will be completed once one of the current PSG trio of Julian Draxler, Lucas Moura or Javier Pastore agrees to head in the opposite direction as part of the deal.

There have been significant steps forward taken in the negotiations in recent days, with Le Parisien claiming that PSG will pay €150m and part exchange one player to land the most coveted young forward on the Continent.

SPURS IN TALKS FOR £23M AURIER

Tottenham broke their transfer record on Wednesday to sign defender Davinson Sanchez and it looks like their spending does not end there.

We understand Spurs are in talks with PSG over right-back Serge Aurier.

Personal terms are unlikely to be a problem and PSG, who want around £23m, are keen to sell players after the arrival of Neymar.
